Recently there has been some controversy as to whether the Grape Ape is a true autoflower or a fotoperiod variety. After consulting our grower and interigating his staff – we have concluded the best way for indoor growers to induce the “autoflowering” effect is by leaving the girls in the dark for up to 48 hours and allowing the pots to dry enuff to let the plant wilt a bit and changing the nutes prior to bringing them lites back onto the flowering cycle.
In conclusion we can say that even though the lineage of Grape Ape may have had some ruderalis, the final product is definitely fotoperiod on the verge of autoflowering – just takes time.
