If there were ever a strain worthy of a place in the cannabis hall of fame, it would be Chemdawg!  This popular hybrid has become a national treasure for its eye-watering potent aroma and kick-ass effects that will leave you wanting more.

Chemdawg is a legendary balanced hybrid. This strain is high-yielding and produces almost narcotic effects. It’s not uncommon for the THC content in this strain to reach above 20%.

This potent hybrid is excellent for those in need of some hardcore pain relief.  Yet, the heavy hitting cerebral and body highs are not recommended for beginners.

Legend has it that some bud was given to well-known cannabis breeder Chemdog, at a Grateful Dead concert. Luckily, that bud happened to contain some seeds. From these seeds sprouted what came to be the original strain.  The exact genetics of this strain are unknown. However, this strain is thought to be a possible parent of the equally famous OG Kush and Sour Diesel strains.

The Chemdawg smell has an eye-watering pungency with notes of diesel.  The earthy notes coupled with the diesel-like scent makes for a seriously musky strain.

As for the way it looks, Chemdawg is no wilting flower. With the potential to grow pretty tall, boasting long and tapered, medium-sized buds, it is indeed a sight to behold!  The leaves are a wonderful, vibrant green and are covered in sticky trichomes, giving off a silvery appearance.  Splattered throughout are appealing burnt orange pistils, making for a lovely looking plant for you home growers!

If you can make it past that powerful, hard-hitting scent, then the taste of Chemdawg will likely come as no surprise – with a super strong tasting diesel with undertones of pine and a slight tang, it is undoubtedly a taste sensation!
