From Bandido Brothers Farms – somewhere in Uruguay South America ….
Invented way back in the early 1993s and taking the Cannabis Cup in 1994 it’s very old-school and contains strains from that old Dutch seedbank.
Silver pearl provides a great Sativa-hybrid experience and a huge dose of fresh, sweet, fruity notes in both the flavor and the aroma.
This particular grow was mostly without flaw, and we especially liked seeing the array of cloudy trichomes, which seems increasingly rare (we often see a bunch of clear heads with patches of ambers mixed in rather than a true progression).
While its strong start and at times racy effect may get on top of some inexperienced patients, it is moderately potent overall and would be suitable for daytime relief.
Silver Peal came about when Sensi Seeds backcrossed Skunk #1 to create Skunk #28.5 and then bred this with Northern Lights and Early Pearl. They created a strain which has a high calyx-to-leaf ratio, flowers for an exceptionally short period of time, and still delivers high potency. The result was a winning title in the 1994 High Times Cannabis Cup.
Despite being sativa-dominant, while growing Silver Pearl has retained the indica growth characteristics of her Skunk and Northern Lights parentage. Reaching around 4 feet indoors and 5 to 6 feet outdoors, Silver Pearl will flower for an astoundingly short 7 to 8 weeks, producing top-shelf medication. She will be ready for outdoor harvest by the beginning of October, making this strain high on the priority of growers to add to their garden.
Type of high
Commonly seen throughout dispensaries and coffee shops in Amsterdam, Silver Pearl has enjoyed a recreational popularity as well as satisfying countless medical marijuana patients.
Delivering a quick and uplifting effect, Silver Pearl provides sativa effects, with no speediness or twitches.
