The Futura 75 Hemp Variety

This is a monoica hemp strain, so in the vast majority of specimens you will see both female and male flowers. It is one of the earliest genetics that exist within certified hemp and also one of the favorites for its large production of quality stems and fibers. But one of the best qualities of this plant is that it produces above-average levels of CBD, approximately 13 to 25% once feminized depending on your cultivation method.

Futura 75 are industrial hemp seeds certified by the European Union.

It is one of the most planted varieties in southern European countries due to its great acclimatization to high temperatures and low levels of humidity.

Futura 75 seeds were developed in France, as were many other certified hemp genetics.

It is very appreciated by growers thanks to its great homogeneity and versatility as a multi-product crop.

What you get from a Futura 75 harvest

Its good content of Cannabidiol has caused many new growers to be encouraged to sow Futura 75 for the production of flower and oil rich in this medicinal cannabinoid.

For growers who want to make the most of their crop, this variety is perfect.

On the one hand we will get a lot of stems rich in fiber of good quality.

On the other hand we will take out a great quantity of flowers that will give us many seeds and, once these have been extracted, minced flower will give us levels of CBD of approximately 13 to 25 %

How to cultivate Futura 75

Historically it was always planted in a massive way, with many individuals per square meter. This causes the plants to have a great vertical development but little branching.  Planted just 2 inches (5cm) apart, it is easy that they surpass 3 meters of height.

Currently we have seen fields where they sow it with enough space between plants, thus branch much more and the buds are formed better.

The germination of Futura 75 takes place in mid-spring, depending on the climate rainfall.  Its vegetative growth lasts about 100 to 11o days, and it flowers and ripens during the months of August and September after days shorten. Yes, it is a  photoperiod strain with an average of 8 to 9 weeks of flowering but its possible to extend flowering to 10 weeks.  The harvest usually arrives at the end of September, in the northern hemisphere.

One of the things to keep in mind when we want to cultivate legally is its THC content. When Futura 75 is fed moderately there is no problem, but if we fertilize intensively we can exceed that legal maximum, so we have to check the field regularly.

If you are producing Futura 75 for a low THC crop, you are advised to brew compost tea for flowering as well as pruning the flowers of pollen pods to reduce the amount of seeds produced.

Plantation tips:

It is advisable to work the soil carefully before sowing, eliminating all clods or depressed areas and proceed with  plowing at a depth of about 30 centimeters , to be done preferably in autumn and not in spring. If you do not know the soil well, it may be a good idea  to false seeding  to check for the presence of weeds and not to waste hemp seeds, as well as carry out preventive analyzes to verify their suitability.  It is important  to properly fertilize  hemp crops, which need  nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium  like all plants.  We recommend using only organic fertilizers, to which the plant responds very well.  Particularly suitable are manure, slurry and compost.

Growing hemp in association with other plants can also help them grow better.  Dill, Calendula, chervil, chamomile and peppermint,  for example, keep insects and pests away.   White  clover, on the other hand, helps maintain soil health.   Dried  borage, being very nutritious for all living beings, including plants, is perfect to be added to our natural compost.

Irrigation is  essential in indoor crops, paying particular attention that there is no lack of water in the pre-flowering phase. Outdoors, irrigation becomes necessary in periods of particular drought, always paying attention to pre-flowering, a period in which the plant requires a greater amount of water.

Naturally feminized at the plantation during the plant lifecycle process.

Feminized using our unique 2 stage organic feminizing process that lets you be tomorrow’s strain hunter.

We utilize a 2 step method of feminizing, allowing our customers the joy of feminizing. Our first process is on the farm where plants are feminized prior to harvest to achieve up to 80% feminized ratio. This method of seed production offers organic grown seed batched with plants highly resistant to mold and pests and crop diseases.
